Typically you need a copy of your National Identification and your valid drivers license to be able to rent a car for self drive in Uganda. If you need to rent a car with a driver, a drivers license will not be necessary. In all cases we are required by law to verify identity before any rental is approved.
Any person older than 21 and below 75 years is eligible to rent a car for self drive from Self Drive Tours Uganda. If you want to rent a car with a driver, you need to be at least 18 years and there is no upper cap on the maximum age to rent a car with a driver.
Yes you can pay for your car rental with all major credit or debit cards when you rent from Self Drive Tours Uganda. Please note however that a 4% card processing fee does apply when you pay with your financial card.
